When is the best time to travel to Ecuador?

Due to its mild climate, Ecuador is a year-round destination. High season is mid-December through January and June through August.

Is airfare included?

We do not include airfare in the cost of our tours. We do, however, quote it for you and you can purchase it through us if you like. The cost of our airfare is usually the same or lower than what you can purchase yourself.

Do you recommend Travel Insurance?

Yes, we recommend travel insurance and strongly believe that you should be protected in the event that something unforeseen happens either before or during your trip.

How do I plan a trip to Ecuador?

The best way to plan a trip to Ecuador is to tell us what trip you want, when you want to travel, the number of passengers, and where you want to depart from. What are the passport/visa requirements for American and other citizens traveling to Ecuador?

U.S., Australian, Canadian, and EU citizens require a passport valid for at least six months from date of entry and return ticket for stays of up to 90 days. Citizens of other countries are advised to contact the Ecuadorian embassy in their country before traveling.

What vaccinations are required for travel to Ecuador?

For travel to Ecuador, it is recommended to be up to date on routine vaccinations and to consider vaccines for hepatitis A, typhoid, and, depending on your travel plans, hepatitis B and rabies. Yellow fever vaccination is recommended for certain areas of the Amazon and may be required if arriving from countries with a risk of transmission. Travelers are advised to consult a healthcare professional 4–6 weeks before their trip to determine the appropriate vaccinations based on their itinerary..
